What is your greatest distraction?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for June 26, 2008:
Maggie is Maggie's greatest distraction! I am sure of this.
Some days, I can convince myself not to be distracted. These are great days of productive bliss.
Other days, I can convince myself that there are distractions to keep me from reaching commendable productivity. These are great days of wasted lethargy.
Both are necessary; I couldn't function without going back and forth between the two possibilities from day to day. In fact, having the one type of day inspires me to switch to the other type come the next morning. It's all about balance, right? Or, in other words, "Everything in moderation," as Aristotle said.
In conclusion, I am a happily self-distracted being.

And going from Maggie to Maggie is gratifying expanding as well! As the poet put it: “What is life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare?”
Better Maggie than television, right?
Ha ha, yes! Thankfully, television contains no lure for me!
